In 2024, I stepped away from work to pursue a Master's in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths, University of London, drawn, in part, by a question I'd been quietly sitting with since the pandemic: what is the attention economy doing to us?
As part of my Master's I submitted a thesis that examines how social media platforms engineer human behaviour through design choices that appear innocuous but are a deliberate effort to increase user engagement.
